Recycled wood floors from homes that were torn down to build the federal courthouse. The wainscot in the living room is Heart Pine from the original walls. We vaulted the ceilings in the livingroom, bathrooom, and kitchen. Notice the skylight in the kitchen when viewing the photos. There is Mexican Saltillo tile in the kitchen and utility room. The kitchen counters and back splash are white tile with black grout.

We installed recessed lights and track lights all throughout the apartment and in the kitchen, living, and bath. The central a/c unit is located in the attic. As with the rest of the building, the electrical, plumbing,and telecommunications are all new. The walls and attic are insulated to current building codes and the windows are insulated wood windows. So between the insulation and the oak tree canopy, the house is a cocoon. The metal roof and skylight was replaced in 2021, as well as the exterior was freshly painted.

The utility room is equipped with washer and dryer hook-ups. However the room isn’t wide enough for both units so you can just pick one or get a stack-able. Those that don’t mind sharing can walk just down the yellow brick path and use the coin operated machines.

We are sensitive as to whom lives in this apartment for two main reasons. One, you will have someone living under you. Two, the driveway goes directly by the house in front’s (533) bedrooms. So those that don’t play/run in the house and that are considerate when using the driveway fit best. The garage is used by management for storage. We have a super fancy tin roofed bike rack in the backyard for your convenience.
